Ingredients for Vegetable Pizza:

  1. 1 cup maida / plain flour.
  2. 1 tsp dry active yeast.
  3. 1 tbsp sugar.
  4. 1 tbsp oil + some more for greasing the dough.

  7. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion.
  8. 4 tomatoes, freshly pureed.
  9. 1 tbsp oil.

  13. 1 tsp chilli flakes.
  14. 1 tbsp sugar.
  15. to taste Salt.
  16. 8-10 fresh basil leaves.
  17. 1 /4 cup thinly sliced yellow bell pepper.
  18. 1/4 cup thinly sliced green capsicum.
  19. 1/4 cup thinly sliced tomatoes, deseeded.
  20. 1/4 cup thinly sliced onion.
  21. 1/2 cup grated processed cheese.

Step by step how to cook Vegetable Pizza:

  1. Gather all the ingredients for the dough at one place like maida, yeast, sugar, salt, oil and water.
  2. First mix them with a spoon.
  3. Combine all of them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Then knead it properly with your hands.
  5. Knead it into a smooth dough, apply little oil on top.
  6. Cover with a moist muslin cloth.
  7. Cover and keep it for an hour.
  8. In the meantime prepare the pizza sauce, for this heat oil in a pan.
  9. Add garlic and saute for few seconds, on low heat.
  10. Then add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  11. Put the chopped tomatoes in a mixer jar.
  12. And grind them into a puree.
  13. Now add this fresh tomato puree to the sauteed onion, mix well and cook on low heat, until all the moisture evaporates.

  16. Mix them nicely and add chopped basil in the end.
  17. The pizza sauce is ready, take it out in a bowl.
  18. Now make a big ball from dough.
  19. And roll it with the help of some dry flour, with your fingers.
  20. Now heat a pan on low heat, place the rolled out roti in the pan and spread the pizza sauce all over very nicely.
  21. Take processed cheese and grate it in a plate.

  23. Now arrange the sliced vegetables like yellow bell peppers, green capsicum, tomato and onion, over the cheese.
  24. Sprinkle some more cheese on top and spread some basil also on top.
