Ingredients for Dry Potato Sabzi:

  1. 3 boiled potatoes.
  2. 1 tsp Jeera (cumin)powder.
  3. Pinch hing/asafoetida.
  4. 1 green chilli.
  5. 1/4 tsp Haldi/Turmeric powder.
  6. 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder.
  7. Red chilli powder as per taste.
  8. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder.
  9. 11/4 tsp coriander powder.
  10. 1/2 tsp amchur(dry mango) powder.
  11. to taste Salt.
  12. 2 tbsp oil.
  13. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.

Step by step how to cook Dry Potato Sabzi:

  1. Chop the boiled potatoes and put salt and mix well and keep aside..
  2. Keep all masalas ready..
  3. In a kadai take oil and add jeera, hing and chopped chilli. You can also add curry leaves. I have not added as was not available..
  4. As jeera crackles reduce the flame to low and add all masalas and saute for a min..
  5. Add boiled potatoes and mix well. Cover and cook on low flame for 5 mins.Once done add amchur powder and chopped coriander and mix well. Serve hot with chapati..
