Ingredients for Potato Poha Burgerππ€©ππ:
- For Burger buns.
- 2 cup + 2tbsp -Maida.
- 1/2 cup - Water.
- 2 tsp - Yeast.
- 3 tbsp - Milk powder.
- 3 tbsp - Sugar.
- 1/2 cup - Warm water.
- 3 tbsp - Oil.
- For Cutlet.
- 4 nos -boiled potatoes.
- 1 1/2 cup - soaked and drained poha.
- 1 tsp - ginger garlic and chilli paste.
- 1 tsp - haldi.
- 1 tsp - coriander powder.
- 1/2 tsp - garam masala.
- 1 tsp - red chilli powder.
- 1 tsp - Amchur powder.
- 1 tsp - Chaat masala.
- 1 no. - finely chopped onion.
- leaves Few chopped coriander.
- 3 tbsp - Corn flour.
- 1 cup - Bread crumbs.
- Note: I have not added any other vegetables as my kids like plain potato cutlets. But you can add boiled green peas, carrot etc of your choice.
- Salt as per taste.
Step by step how to cook Potato Poha Burgerππ€©ππ:
- For making burger buns, take 1/2 cup warm water in that add sugar and yeast, mix with spoon and keep it for 5mnts. Now in a non stick pan take 1/2 cup water add 2 tbsp maida and mix and make a medium thick slurry..
- Next in a mixing bowl take Maida, add milk powder and mix nicely. Now add yeast mixture and mix it well. Now add oil and maida slurry and mix properly till everything is well combined. The dough will be sticky but dont add any extra flour. Now grease your hands with oil and also grease oil on the working place and knead the dough by stretching and folding method for 2-3 mnts. Now grease a bowl with oil and pur the dough and also grease the dough..
- Now cover with cling and keep for rest at least 1 hr in warm place. After 1hr the dough will be double in size. Next punch dough in between and again knead for 1 mnt. Now make small medium round size balls and place in a baking tray and cover and again keep it for rest at warm place for 30mnts..
- The balls will double in size. Now brush some milk and on.top sprinkle some sesame and put in pre heated oven at 190Β°c for 12 mnts..
- Once done remove from oven and quickly brush melted butter and cover with cloth and let it cool completely. Wow super soft and tasty burger buns are ready to make burger.
- For Cutles, take soaked and drained poha and smashed it properly. Now add smashed potatoes and the rest of the masalas and combined everything..
- Check if it properly becomes ball and there are no cracks. If required you can add 1-2 tsps corn flour. Now make corn flour slurry. Take the prepared balls add in the slurry and then roll in the break crumbs and shallow fry them on medium flame..
- Now for making burger take buns and cut in between. Spread some mayonnaise and then put cutlet and cabbage leaves and cheese slice and close the bun. Wow super yummy burger is ready to just grab it. My kids just love themππππ.
