Ingredients for Sweet Potato Tikkis:
- 1 & 1/2 cup sweet potato.
- leaves As required coriander.
- 1 tsp red chilli powder.
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1 tsp chaat masala.
- 2 tsp lemon juice.
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp corn flour.
- 1 tbsp rice flour.
- To taste salt.
- As required oil for frying.
Step by step how to cook Sweet Potato Tikkis:
- Rinse sweet potatoes 2-3 times with water & pressure cook it for 2 whistles..
- Peel all the sweet potatoes & mash them. Mix all the above mentioned ingredients with 1-2 tsp oil to form a dough..
- Divide in medium size portions & make flat round tikkis. Now heat oil in a kadai & deep fry all the tikkis in batches..
- Your yummy sweet potato tikkis are ready to be served. Eat hot. Can be served as starters or in breakfast with sauce, chutneys & ketchup..
