Ingredients for Pizza Sticks & coins:
- 180 gms flour(maida).
- 100 gms grated cheddar cheese.
- 80 gms butter, softened and chopped.
- Ketchup (or tomato concentrate), enough to make a pliable dough.
- 3/4-1 tsp salt.
- 1 tbsp oregano.
Step by step how to cook Pizza Sticks & coins:
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, grated Cheese, oregano and salt..
- Add the chopped butter and rub it in with your fingers..
- Add enough ketchup as to obtain a pliable dough (similar to cookie dough in consistency). Knead well, make it into a ball and keep it in the fridge for 20 minutes..
- Roll it into a 5 mm thick sheet and cut out the sticks a few I made roundels with a cookie cutter.
- Put them on a tray covered with baking paper and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown..
- Serve at room temperature..
