- 1 1/4 cup sugar.
- 1/2 cup milk.
- 1 tsp ginger powder.
- 100 gms softened butter.

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
- 1/2 cup orange juice(fresh).

- Mix all the dry ingredient together and sieve it twice..
- Take out juice of 1 orange and zest one more orange..
- Beat lightly sugar and butter together till light and fluffy..
- Beat egg one by one till well mixed and fluffy.Do not over beat..
- Add milk and dry ingredients alternately till all well folded..
- Add orange zest and fold it.Lastly add orange juice and mix well..
- Grease and dust a baking pan and pour the batter in it.Bake at 180 degree for 35 minutes or till the skewer comes out clean..
