Ingredients for Orange Cream Cake:
- 1 cup flour.
- 11/2 tbsp powder sugar.
- 1 tsp baking powder.
- 1/2 tsp soda.
- 4 tbsp butter.
- 1 tbsp Orange zest.
- 1 tsp Orange essence.
- 1/2 tin condensed milk.
- 1/2 cup Orange pulp.
- 3 tbsp Orange juice + 1 tbsp sugar- to make the cake moist.
- 1/2 cup Orange juice.
- 2 tsp powder sugar.
- For icing-.
- 1 cup whipped cream.
- 1/2 tsp Orange colour.
- 1/2 cup Almond slices.
Step by step how to cook Orange Cream Cake:
- Seave the flour, soda, baking powder twice. Mix condensed milk and essence with butter and beat it well, then add Orange zest, gradually add flour.
- Add Orange juice and pulp to make falling consistency batter. Bake in preheated oven at 170' C for 20 - 25 minutes. Than cool it..
- Divide the cake horizontally. Moist it with Orange and sugar mixture,.
- Whip the cream on ice till semi thick,add Orange colour, Orange essence whip again till thick. Spread the whip cream on lower part of the cake, place the top part and cover the whole cake with Orange cream..
