Ingredients for Bombay Potatoes:
- 5-6 medium sized potato cut into halves.
- 3 tomato.
- 6-7 garlic cloves.
- 1 inch ginger.
- 2 green chili.
- 1 onion, sliced.
- to taste Salt.
- 1 tbsp oil.
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
- 1/2 tsp Red chili powder.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1/2 tsp coriender powder.
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder.
- leaves Coriander.
Step by step how to cook Bombay Potatoes:
- Put the ginger, garlic, tomatoes into a food processor untill smooth. Set aside..
- Put the potatoes in a large saucepan, boil for 8-10 minutes on medium heat, until just tender. Drain and set aside..
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin, mustard seeds fry for a second add onion, salt saute for a minute add green chili & all the spices stir well..
- Now add tomato mixture mix well and simmer for 2-3 mins, then stir the potatoes cook for 3-4 minutes..
- Garnish with coriander leaves Serve..
