  1. 1 cup Refined Flour.
  2. 1/2 tsp Baking Soda.
  3. 1/2 tsp Baking Powder.
  4. 200 g Condensed Milk.
  5. 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter.
  6. 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar(adjust as per your taste).
  7. 1/2 cup Orange Juice.
  8. 1 tsp Orange zest.
  9. 1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence.
  10. 3-4 drops Orange food colour.
  11. 3 tbsp Chopped Pistachio(coated with 1tbsp refined flour).
  12. 1/2 cup Cranberry (optional).
  13. 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar (to dust).

Step by step how to cook Orange Pound Cake:

  1. Sieve flour, soda and baking powder twice..
  2. In a bowl, add condensed milk, butter, sugar and blend them with the help of a blender or whisk..
  3. Again blend well juice, zest, food colour and vanilla essence..
  4. Now add dry ingredients to wet in two batches. Beat till batter gets mix. Do not overbeat..
  5. Fold in the pistachio/cranberries. Pour the batter into a greased tin. Bake at 140°C for 40-45 min..
  6. Cool it on a wire rack. Dust some powdered sugar and cut into slices..
