Ingredients for Orange Cake:
- 11/4 cup maida.
- 1 cup sugar.
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted).
- 5 eggs.
- 1 orange (juice with pulp).
- 1 tbsp orange tang powder.
- 2 tsp baking powder.
- For frosting:.
- 2 tbsp orange tang powder.
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar.
- 150 grams heavy cream.
Step by step how to cook Orange Cake:
- Beat sugar, butter, tang powder, orange juice and egg in a blender or in electric beater..
- Sieve and add maida and baking powder in liquid mixture..
- Gently fold everything together and pour it in a baking tray which is lined up with parchment paper..
- Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes(180-degree c)..
- Once it's done, allow it to cool down completely..
- Whip heavy cream in a mixing bowl with beater by adding tang powder and powdered sugar, till it forms a peak..
- Apply it in the cake and garnish with orange pulp and sprinkle some tang powder and serve cool..
