Ingredients for Orange Cake:

  1. 11/4 cup maida.
  2. 1 cup sugar.
  3. 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted).
  4. 5 eggs.
  5. 1 orange (juice with pulp).
  6. 1 tbsp orange tang powder.
  7. 2 tsp baking powder.
  8. For frosting:.
  9. 2 tbsp orange tang powder.
  10. 2 tbsp powdered sugar.
  11. 150 grams heavy cream.

Step by step how to cook Orange Cake:

  1. Beat sugar, butter, tang powder, orange juice and egg in a blender or in electric beater..
  2. Sieve and add maida and baking powder in liquid mixture..
  3. Gently fold everything together and pour it in a baking tray which is lined up with parchment paper..
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes(180-degree c)..
  5. Once it's done, allow it to cool down completely..
  6. Whip heavy cream in a mixing bowl with beater by adding tang powder and powdered sugar, till it forms a peak..
  7. Apply it in the cake and garnish with orange pulp and sprinkle some tang powder and serve cool..
