Ingredients for Orange Cake:
- 1 cup water.
- 3 tablespoons oil.
- 2 cups sugar.
- 3 teaspoons baking powder.
- 4 eggs.
- 50 g butter.
Step by step how to cook Orange Cake:
- In a bowl, with an electric mixer, mix the sugar, eggs and butter until it is all dissolved.
- Add the flour gradually and continue stirring.
- Add the juice and orange zest and continue stirring.
- Add baking powder.
- Grease a bowl with a spoon of flour and 3 tablespoons oil, ensuring that the entire bowl is greased so that the cake doesn't stick.
- Put the dough in the bowl already greased and take it to a oven preheated 180 to 200 degrees.
- In a pot, place a glass of sugar and orange juice and bring to low heat. Go stirring with a spoon until the sugar dissolves. Still hot, put the syrup under the ready cake. And enjoy.
