Ingredients for Whosayna’s Popitz/Pizza Cuppies:

  1. For Base dough:.
  2. 1 and half cups Maida (All Purpose flour).
  3. 1 tsp Yeast.
  4. 2 tbsp Oil.
  5. 1 tbsp Nido (milk powder).
  6. 1/2 tsp Salt.
  7. For Sauce:.
  8. 5 Tomatoes (baked).
  9. 1/4 tsp Salt.
  10. 1/4 tsp Chilli powder.
  11. 1 tsp Chilli sauce.
  12. 1 tsp Oil.
  13. 2 tbsp Tomato puree.
  14. 1/2 tsp Oregano.
  15. 1/4 tsp Thyme or Basil.
  16. For Toppings:.
  17. 1/4 kg Chicken Boneless cubes (or Prawns or Beef fillet cubes).
  18. 1 cup Veggies (Capsicum, French beans, Sweetcorns, Onions, Mushrooms and Olives).
  19. 1 cup Mozarella cheese (grated).

Step by step how to cook Whosayna’s Popitz/Pizza Cuppies:

  1. First bind soft dough using all ingredients with warm water.
  2. Let it rise till it doubles in size.
  3. Punch back, knead well then make 15 balls.
  4. Roll them in puris (of roti thickness) then lay on greased cupcake tray.
  5. Let it rise for ten minutes (optional: then take another same tray and keep on it and press slightly).
  6. Poke with fork so it does not puff up while baking.
  7. Then bake in oven on 200°C to pinkish colour.
  8. If using another tray to cover it, remove the top tray and let it cool.
  9. Then remove cuppies from the mould, and keep on another greased tray and keep aside.
  10. Now make sauce, can make sauce when dough is rested to double.
  11. Blend all (accept oregano) with quarte cup of water.
  12. Add oregano and keep on boil till it's fine paste.
  13. Remove and let it cool down.
  14. Pan fry chicken (or whatever meat topping you using) in a tablespoon of oil, with garlic paste, salt, tikka masala, chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  15. On each cuppies fill in one tablespoon of sauce and spread using glazing brush.
  16. Fill in little with little veggies.
  17. Put chicken pieces.
  18. Put cheese and sprinkle little thyme.
  19. Bake on 200°C till cheese melts.
